Julia Sarr Jamois- don't try this at home!

I am kind of obsessed with Julia Sarr Jamois.

Needless to say, I am not the first one to want to fluff her fabulous ‘fro and become best friends with it.
The 23 yrs-old fashion editor at Wonderland Magazine seems to have absolutely no rules when dressing up, there’s no playing down nothing in her book, and that’s what I love!! A heavily colorfully embroided shiny patent leather jacket is just NOT ENOUGH! Put a fur collar onto it, a neon blue sweater, a leopard print blouse, a bright red skirt, and that’s only the beginning….

I warn those reading this: DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME! I doubt anyone else can pull off Julia’s looks without looking like a hobo who’s wearing all her clothes on at once…. Why does she look fabulous whatever she wears? Is it her hair? Is it? Is it? I want it!
What’s most fascinating is that, at age 23, she is already a fashion editor at a major fashion magazine. Some people have it luckier, they have the connections, they know the right people …. BUT that’s still not enough, there’s so much more one could have done to blow shit up even if given the opportunity at their door. It’s no doubt that she must have a unique talent and great working attitude that gets her here. Well done and keep those crazy fros and furs comin’!

Currently reading.... Grace, A Memoir

I finally receive my Grace memoir I ordered at Amazon back at the beginning of January! I swear I am never shopping there again...

I've been addicted to the book ever since, I love imagining all the imagery and scenes of older times through Grace's words... she is so inspirational. She is so free and impulsive, living life to the fullest, going straight for it doing what she loves.... she has so much passion, 70 but still a fireball as ever, still cares so much about her job and about fashion. I only hope I can possess the same amount of passion and longevity in what I do. She is also very down to earth and humble, in her memoir, she plays down the most tragic pasts and talks about her huge success in a very matter of fact manner. She is so real. I love Grace!!

I love this photo of her, she is so beautiful, so GRACEful :-)
